Praxis Annual Gathering

Grove City College’s Center for Entrepreneurship + Innovation partners with Praxis in a number of ways to prepare students motivated by their faith to create and lead ventures that matter for the future of society. During the course of the partnership, Grove City College students, faculty, and administration engage with the Praxis team and community of startups – which includes leading entrepreneurs, scholars, and cultural thinkers.

Praxis Academy equips the next generation of current and aspiring entrepreneurs who are motivated by their faith to create ventures that matter for the future of society.

Grove City College has partnered with Praxis Academy to send a cohort of our top students to represent us at this summer’s Academy. Selected applicants will be awarded full-ride scholarships ($995) and represent GCC at Academy 2018. Attendees will be responsible for travel to and from Praxis Academy.

What: Academy 2019 is a week-long intensive exploring a Christian vision for culture-shaping entrepreneurship that spans business, nonprofits, and social enterprise — both domestic and international.

Who It’s For: Undergraduates and recent graduates across all backgrounds and majors; both current entrepreneurs and those who are interested in startups; all are passionate about their faith and interested in purposeful innovation across all of culture. Thus far 350 students from over 70 schools — Ivy Leagues, top research & liberal arts, CCCU, and more — have graduated since our first Academy in 2014.

When & Where: July 29 – August 2, 2019 // Los Angeles on the campus of Biola University.

I went in to Praxis sure that I would learn something but unsure of what exactly would happen. I left so overwhelmed by all that God had taught me and FULL of new dreams for my life.

The conference significantly exceeded my expectations. I was blown away by the quality of the speakers, organization and structure of the event as a whole, and inspiration and direction I received.
