Sponsored by the Center for Entrepreneurship + Innovation at Grove City College in conjunction with Dr. Brian Dickinson, Associate Professor of Computer Science, Grove City College, The Client Pitch challenges students in the Web Development class to take their final projects to the next level, and leverage what they build for the class to convince the “client” (a panel of judges) that their should hire them to build out a similar project for them.
Students in Dr. Dickinson’s Web Development class spend time planning, developing, and testing their website, in an effort to create the most polished product possible. Teams are able to opt in to participate in The Client Pitch, and those that do will gain valuable presentation skills, learn the importance of preparing a proper client pitch, and also how previous work that they have done can help them land future clients. Teams that opt in will present to the judges and compete for cash prizes!
Register for The Client Pitch
Currently, only students in Dr. Dickinson’s Web Development class are eligible to compete in The Client Pitch. Registrations must be received no later than 11:59PM on November 2, 2025.
