Calling all Future Entrepreneurs
April 24, 1–4 p.m.
Are you an entrepreneur or an aspiring entrepreneur? Are you curious how startup ventures attract investors?
This is your opportunity. Go behind the scenes of the Wolverine Venture Battle to learn how investors evaluate startup pitches and decide who to invest in. The Spring semester is an exciting time at Grove City College. Over one hundred students put their ideas to the test. They pitch, and they battle for a share of the $40,000 in cash and prizes.
Would you like to play an important role and help decide a portion of the prize money?
As a junior judge, the Center for Entrepreneurship + Innovation will schedule a special virtual orientation for your school. We will explain the nine elements of an effective business model. We will walk you through the anatomy of an effective startup pitch. You will get the inside scoop on how real Venture Capital Investors evaluate startup pitches and make their investment decisions. Your votes will award a special award to one of the teams.
Students can participate in the Wolverine Venture Battle finals in person or through the online live stream.
The Battle is April 24, 1–4 p.m. ET.
