Academy Activate is a one-day event for aspiring leaders seeking to create a redemptive vision and strategy for their vocation.
It’s an opportunity to explore how the ideas of redemptive entrepreneurship might shape your own vocation call—all in community with like-minded entrepreneurs and builders.
This event brings together a community of next-gen leaders to encounter a vibrant community of redemptive ideas, ventures, exemplars, and opportunities.
WHO YOU ARE NOW
Part-time innovator, trying to explore whether to take the next step with your venture idea; or
Idea-stage founder with a hunch to work out around an important issue; or
Humble, ambitious Christian seeking to contribute to a venture as a demonstration of your faith
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN
What redemptive entrepreneurship is—in principle, theology, and practice
Commitments and practices of a redemptive leader
How real-life founders are building ventures and practicing redemptive entrepreneurship through the Praxis community
Some of the most essential issues and opportunities for redemptive innovation across sectors and industries
FORMAT
1-day in person event in Manhattan, NY, with talks, panels, and venture pitches by Praxis Fellows (founders of ventures in our Portfolio)
Program includes refreshments and lunch. All participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodations.

What participants gain
You’ll grow as a leader. You’ll learn from active contributors to the Praxis community with expertise in strategy, operations, and leadership who are exemplars of redemptive entrepreneurship.
You’ll strengthen your current venture or build your entrepreneurial capacity. You’ll develop a framework to connect the strategy, operations, and leadership of a venture, designing it to be more effective, high-impact, sustainable, and redemptive for the long haul. You’ll learn more about key early-stage processes—like prototyping and user testing—that you can apply with a redemptive imagination.
Academy Speakers and Mentors
Hear from and connect with over ten entrepreneurs, investors, and philanthropists from a variety of backgrounds and industries. More speakers will be announced soon.

Want to attend Praxis Academy Activate?
The Center for Entrepreneurship + Innovation will cover the registration cost and travel expenses (up to an additional $350 per person) for a select group of students who wish to attend the event in NYC.
