Meet your employer

THE GENESIS COLLECTIVE

We are a young nonprofit in Beaver County, PA. We support artists and their work, increase the public’s access to art and creativity, and come alongside community development work with art. We emerge from a need to recognize the work of artists as change agents, as beacons and truthtellers and beauty makers in a divided, disenfranchised world. We promote collective imagination.

Do you fit here?

HERE’S WHAT WE NEED

The Genesis Collective needs a part-time social media manager. This person would work with the Executive Director to plot out campaigns, create graphics and posts, and monitor data on Facebook and Instagram, primarily, but with the potential to grow our Pinterest, Twitter and YouTube presence.

This is what should be important to you.

NOT EVERYONE CAN DO THIS GIG

We need someone who is attentive to detail, is well-versed in mining social media and its data, cares about community development and the arts, and has a creative bent with the ability to write well and create appealing graphic content. You must be reliable and willing and able to communicate well with the Executive Director.

What do you get out of it?

THIS INTERNSHIP HAS POTENTIAL

This internship begins as an unpaid opportunity to work in the arts and the nonprofit sector in community development. For one quarter of the year, what you get out of this is the experience. After the first three months and the opportunity to grow with consistent feedback, if you are successful in this role, you will be brought on as a paid employee of The Genesis Collective. Here, there is room for growth.

Would you like to chat?

WE WANT TO TALK WITH YOU!

If you have questions or would like to submit a letter of application and a resume, please do so to: [email protected]. You may also call Pamela (’99), the Executive Director, at (386) 748-7448.
